I’d be in my glory having another creative money saving food option.

I purchased my freeze dryer about 5 years ago. In watching u-tube videos, some refer to already frozen mode and non -frozen mode for starting the freeze dryer. I don’t have this mode but I prep foods ahead of time to bag and put in freezer to have ready to load into the dryer. How much time is difference between already frozen and non-frozen modes. Can I do custom mode and shorten the freeze time during processing? If so by how much? I would appreciate any comments about this.
