A software update may resolve these issues you are experiencing. To check if your HR XL freeze dryer requires a software update, look at the software version displayed in the top right corner of the home screen. Touch the software version if only two numbers are present to see the full version number. If your machine is currently installed with a firmware other than 5.x.25d, then you many need to update.
