Replacing Impulse Sealer Strips
Tools Needed:
- Normal Screwdriver
- Replacement Impulse Sealer Strips
Steps:
- Removal of Old Strip: Begin by unscrewing the old strip from both sides of the machine using a normal screwdriver.
- Preparation of New Strip: Get the new strip ready and ensure the sealer is in the correct position.
- Installation of New Strip: Insert the new strip and start re-screwing it back onto the machine. Pull the strip all the way to one side while retaining tension. Be careful not to drop the screw into the machine.
- Affixing the Fabric on Top: After the strip is screwed in on both sides, lay the fabric on top and screw in the metal edges to hold it in place around the seal. The metal should not be on top, and it should be ensured that it won’t burn the bags.
- Final Checks: After fitting everything together, the fabric should be situated correctly on the device and the reattached sides should be secure. Check everything is fitted correctly and the machine is now ready to use again.
Note: The video emphasizes the importance of careful handling of the screws to prevent them from falling into the machine. Additionally, it's important to ensure that the fabric cover is correctly positioned to prevent direct contact between the bags and the metal, which could result in damage from heat or friction.
