How to Fix a Non-Heating Shelf Unit of a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer
Tools Needed:
- Phillips Screwdriver
- 1/8 Allen Wrench
Steps:
- Press the Reset Button: If your shelving unit is not heating up, press the reset button through the hole at the back of the unit.
- Turn Off the Freeze Dryer: For safety reasons, make sure that your freeze dryer is turned off before proceeding.
- Disconnect the Shelving Rack: Disconnect your shelving rack. This can be left inside the freeze dryer.
- Remove the Cover Plate: Use a Phillips Screwdriver or a 1/8 Allen Wrench to remove the four screws and take off the cover plate.
- Check the Wiring: Ensure that both the Spade connectors are fully connected to your reset button and that the wires that connect within the terminal block are fully inserted.
- Press the Reset Button Again: Give the reset button another press to ensure that it’s been clicked.
- Replace the Cover Plate: Put the cover plate back on, align it correctly, and tighten the screws using the Phillips screwdriver.
