For newer freeze dryers with lagging touchscreens, you can try turning off the freeze dryer and then turning it back on using the power switch at the back. This may help unfreeze the screen. If the issue persists, you can update the software or recalibrate the touchscreen.
If your freeze dryer has a software version that begins with 2, 3, 4, 5.0, or 5.2, your touch screen is pressure sensitive and can be recalibrated. One possible solution is to recalibrate the touchscreen. You can follow the steps in this video tutorial: Video: Calibrating Your Display.
Recalibrating should help improve the responsiveness of the buttons. If the issue persists, please let us know, and we can explore other options to resolve the problem.
If your freeze dryer software version begins with 5.1 or 5.4, your screen is not pressure sensitive and does not need to be recalibrated. In this case, contact harvest right and ask a tech for the lag fix software.
