Steps:

Preparing the Freeze Dryer:

1. Acquire a Wooden Pallet: Obtain a wooden pallet from local stores, which will be the base for shipping the freeze dryer.
2. Place Cardboard and Foam Padding: Lay a piece of flat cardboard on the pallet, followed by two foam padding pieces.
3. Position the Freeze Dryer: Place the freeze dryer on top of the foam padding ensuring the padding sits on the ends of the dryer, not pressed in the middle.
4. Tuck Drain Hose: Open the drain valve, press it up into the freeze dryer, and tuck the drain hose in to keep it out of the way.
5. Cover with Plastic Bag: Drape a plastic bag over the freeze dryer.
6. Add Cardboard Box and Top Pieces: Place the cardboard box over, followed by the top cardboard piece and corner boards.
7. Strap Down: Utilize the provided straps and buckles to secure the freeze dryer to the pallet, pulling them tight to prevent movement during transit.
