If your pump is misting excessively, it could indicate a problem with the demister. The demister may need to be cleaned or replaced.

Additionally, excessive misting could also be caused by other factors such as skipping stages of the batch, a vacuum pump that is not working adequately, or a door gasket or drain valve that has an air leak.
