What Should I Do If My Candy Is Not Dry After Candy Mode?
If your candy is not dry after running Candy Mode on your Harvest Right freeze dryer, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Check the Temperature Settings
- Consider increasing the Dry Temperature to enable more even drying.
2. Extend the Drying Time
- Sometimes, certain types of candy may require a longer drying time.
- Extend the drying cycle by adding an additional 1-2 hours to your Extra Dry Time setting and check the candy again.
3. Warm the Trays
- Pre-warm the trays for 15 minutes before starting the drying cycle.
- This may help in achieving a more consistent drying process.
- Extending this time will also help get better results depending on the candy you are attempting to dry.
4. Check the Candy Type
- Some candies work better than others due to their composition and ingredients.
- Experiment with different types of candy to see which ones dry best.
