As a dog trainer I make my own freeze-dried treats, dog and cat food. It has cured my cat with severe food allergies and my dogs are shedding some pounds.
I make my own freeze-dried dog food because of all the controversy about commercial foods. Apparently there is not much regulation of the pet food industry.
It may take us extra time to prepare the freeze-dried food, but, I feel it is worth the cost and time it takes to ensure our pets have nutritional food verses retail food products that have unknown ingredients and possibly may be doing more harm than good.
