A Happy Customer in Texas

We received a nice note from one of our customers, Sharon W., in Texas.

We bought the medium dryer about 7 months ago. Since then we have been running our dryer practically non-stop. We have found it keeps the flavor, makes storage easy, and it is so easy to use – we think it is the best buy we ever made.

Let me give you a list some of what we have put up. The following cooked items: brisket, shrimp, smoked chicken breasts, lean hamburger, sausage, smoked ham, fajita meat, taco meat, smoked pork tenderloin, smoked beef tenderloin, and that is just the cooked meat. We put raw hamburger, chicken tenders and breasts, and pounded beef steak. We put up leftovers and cook large batches of things like spaghetti and so on.

We went on to vegetables and things we couldn’t grow as well at our location, things like cauliflower, broccoli, and on to others like asparagus, carrots, peas, beans, bell peppers, jalapenos, basil, and we will start on our garden and spices soon. We have put up strawberries (and they are wonderful), raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, avocados, and bananas.

We did sour cream and grated cheese. Everything looks and tastes great. We store it in vacuum packed quart jars (and they look so pretty) and the long term storage sealing bags so we can put up a lot in a small space and we don’t have to watch expiration date for a long time (10 to 25 years).

We have freeze dried about two years worth of food and, as we are retired, when things come up and the budget gets tight, we have plenty to get us through. You can’t imagine how good that feels.

So we wanted to thank you for your wonderful product, the top of the line material like the stainless steel trays with the rolled edges the compressor that takes such a small amount of PM, and best of all an easy to operate computer program. You have a really great overall system and we have really put it thru its paces so we feel we know how good it is, it has never wobbled.
